George Shearing (* August 13, 1919 in London; † February 14, 2011 in New York City) was a british-American jazz pianist. He was 91 years old. He studied at Linden Lodge School. His awards include star on Hollywood Walk of Fame and BBC Jazz Awards. His cause of death was heart failure.
