Biography of Georges Daressy

Georges Daressy (* 19. March 1864 in Sourdon; † 28. February 1938 in Cormeilles-en-Parisis) was a französischer Ägyptologe. He was 73 years old. His education included École Lavoisier and École pratique des hautes études. He worked at Supreme Council of Antiquities, Institut Français d'Archéologie Orientale, Boulaq Museum and Egyptian Museum. He received 4 awards, including Knight of the Legion of Honour, Order of Osmanieh.
