Biography of Georges Suffert

Georges Suffert (* 14. May 1927 in 7th arrondissement of Paris; † 17. January 2012 in Bourges) was a french journalist. He was 84 years old. His education included Lycée Louis-le-Grand, University of Paris and Lycée Saint-Louis. He worked at Le Point, Le Figaro, Témoignage chrétien, General Planning Commission, Les Cahiers de la République, Le Nouvel Obs, La Manche libre, Le Républicain Lorrain, RTL and L'Express. He received 9 awards, including Officer of the Legion of Honour, Croix de guerre 1939–1945. He was buried at cimetière de Saint-Vérain.
