Biography of Georgy Logvinovich

Georgy Logvinovich (* 10. February 1913 in Smolensk Oblast; † 10. February 2002 in Moscow) was a soviet scientist in mechanics and hydrodynamics. He was 89 years old. He studied at MSU Faculty of Physics. He worked at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Institute of Hydromechanics of NAS Ukraine, Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute and Moscow Power Engineering Institute. He received 10 awards, including Order of the October Revolution, Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
