Gérard Oury (* 29. April 1919 in 16th arrondissement of Paris; † 20. July 2006 in Saint-Tropez) was a french director and actor. He was 87 years old. He was married to Michèle Morgan. His education included Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, Lycée Janson-de-Sailly and Cours Simon. His awards include Commander of the Legion of Honour, Grand Officer of the National Order of Merit and Paulée de Meursault Prize. He was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
