Biography of Gheorghe Călugăreanu

Gheorghe Călugăreanu (* 16. July 1902 in Iași; † 15. November 1976 in Cluj-Napoca) was a rumänischer Mathematiker. He was 74 years old. His education included Babeș-Bolyai University, University of Paris and Gheorghe Lazăr National College. He worked at Babeș-Bolyai University. His awards include Scientific Merit Order, Medaille "25. Jubiläum der Befreiung des Vaterlandes" and Order of Labour. He was buried at Bellu Cemetery.
