Biography
Gian Carlo Menotti (* July 7, 1911 in Cadegliano Viconago; † February 1, 2007 in Monte Carlo) was an italian-American composer and librettist. He was 95 years old. His education included Curtis Institute of Music and Milan Conservatory. He received 9 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Peabody Awards. He was buried at Yester Parish Church, Gifford.
