Biography of Girish Karnad

Girish Karnad (* 19. May 1938 in Matheran; † 10. June 2019 in Bengaluru) was an indian playwright, theatre personality. He was 81 years old. His education included Karnatak University, Lincoln College and Magdalen College. He received 6 awards, including Jnanpith Award, Padma Bhushan. His cause of death was multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.
