Biography of Grigory Kapantsyan

Grigory Kapantsyan (* 17. February 1887 in Ashtarak; † 3. May 1957 in Yerevan) was a soviet linguist. He was 70 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). He studied at Faculty of Oriental Studies of the St. Petersburg University. He worked at Gevorkian Theological Seminary, Yerevan State University and Institute of Language of Armenia. He was awarded the Deserved scientist of ArmSSR.
