Hal David (* May 25, 1921 in New York City; † September 1, 2012 in Los Angeles) was an american poet and lyricist. He was 91 years old. He studied at Thomas Jefferson High School. He received 5 awards, including Grammy Trustees Award, Gershwin Prize. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
