Biography of Hamao Arata

Hamao Arata (* 20. April 1849 in Toyooka; † 25. September 1925 in The University of Tokyo Hospital) was a japanischer Politiker. He was 76 years old. His education included Keio Gijuku and Daigakkō. He worked at University of Tokyo, Ranshadō, Kaisei School, Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts, Ministry of Education, Science Sports and Culture and Privy Council of Japan. His awards include Order of the Rising Sun, 1st class and Order of the Rising Sun with Paulownia Flowers, 1st class. His cause of death was burned to death. He was buried at Somei Cemetery.
