Biography of Hannah Jane Patterson

Hannah Jane Patterson (* 5. November 1879 in Smithton; † 21. August 1937 in Western Pennsylvania Hospital) was an american suffragist and defense official in World War I. She was 57 years old. Her education included Wilson College, University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University. She worked at Council of National Defense. She was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal. She was buried at West Newton Cemetery.
