Hannelore Kohl (* March 7, 1933 in Berlin; † July 5, 2001 in Ludwigshafen) was a wife of German chancellor Helmut Kohl. She was 68 years old. She was married to Helmut Kohl. She studied at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Her awards include Order of Merit of Rhineland-Palatinate and Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. Her cause of death was drug overdose. She was buried at Friesenheim.
