Biography of Hara Takashi

Hara Takashi (* 15. March 1856 in Morioka; † 4. November 1921 in Tokyo Station) was a 19. Premierminister von Japan. He was 65 years old. He was married to Asako Hara. He studied at Law School of the Ministry of Justice. He worked at Hōchi, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Osaka Mainichi Shimbun. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Order of the Rising Sun, 1st class, Order of the Rising Sun with Paulownia Flowers, 1st class and Grand Cordon of the Supreme Order of the Chrysanthemum. His cause of death was stab wound. He was buried at Daiji-ji Temple (Morioka).
