Biography of Hélder Câmara

Hélder Câmara (* 7. February 1909 in Fortaleza; † 27. August 1999 in Recife) was a brasilianischer Geistlicher, Erzbischof von Olinda und Recife. He was 90 years old. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 7 awards, including People's Peace Prize, Pacem in Terris Award. His cause of death was cardiac arrest. He was buried at Olinda Cathedral.
