Biography
Hélène Carrère d'Encausse (* July 6, 1929 in 16th arrondissement of Paris; † August 5, 2023 in 15th arrondissement of Paris) was a french historian and politician. She was 94 years old. She was married to Louis Carrère d'Encausse. She had 3 children. Her education included Sciences Po and Faculty of Arts of Paris. She received 6 awards, including Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres, Commander with Star of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. She was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
