Henri Cartan (* July 8, 1904 in Nancy; † August 13, 2008 in 13th arrondissement of Paris) was a french mathematician. He was 104 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure and Lycée Hoche. He received 7 awards, including CNRS Gold medal, Émile Picard Medal.
