Biography of Herbert Holdsworth Ross

Herbert Holdsworth Ross (* 3. March 1908 in Leeds; † 2. November 1978 in Athens) was a british born Canadian and American entomologist. He was 70 years old. He was married to Jean Alexander Ross. His education included University of British Columbia and University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. He worked at University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign and University of Georgia. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship.
