Biography of Hester A. Davis

Hester A. Davis (* 4. June 1930 in Ayer; † 30. December 2014 in Fayetteville) was an american archaeologist. She was 84 years old. Her education included Northfield Mount Hermon School, Rollins College, University of Oregon, Haverford College and University of North Carolina. She worked at Smithsonian Institution, University of Iowa and University of Arkansas. Her awards include Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, honorary doctorate and Arkansas Women's Hall of Fame. She was buried at Quaker Meeting House Cemetery.
