Biography of Hirota Kōki

Hirota Kōki (* 14. February 1878 in Fukuoka; † 23. December 1948 in Sugamo Prison) was a 32. japanischer Premierminister. He was 70 years old. He was married to Shizuko Hirota. His education included Fukuoka Prefectural Shuyukan High School and Graduate Schools for Law and Politics and Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo. His awards include Order of the Rising Sun, 1st class, Grand Cordon of the Order of the Sacred Treasure and Knight of the Legion of Honour. His cause of death was hanging to death. He was buried at Shōfuku-ji Temple.
