Holt Ashley (* 10. January 1923 in San Francisco; † 9. May 2006) was an american aeronautical engineer notable for his seminal research of aeroelasticity. He was 83 years old. He studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University. His awards include Daniel Guggenheim Medal, Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Ludwig-Prandtl-Ring.
