Biography of Horst Bienek

Horst Bienek (* 7. May 1930 in Gliwice; † 7. December 1990 in Munich) was a deutscher Schriftsteller. He was 60 years old. He received 9 awards, including Mainz resident writer, Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. His cause of death was death from AIDS-related complications. He was buried at Ottobrunn.
