Biography of Horst Hofmann

Horst Hofmann (* 18. January 1919 in Ore Mountains; † 14. June 1978 in Lübeck) was a deutscher U-Bootkommandant im 2. Weltkrieg. He was 59 years old. He studied at Naval Academy at Mürwik. His awards include Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and German Cross in Gold.
