Biography of Howard Bay

Howard Bay (* 3. May 1912 in Centralia; † 21. November 1986 in Manhattan) was an american set designer. He was 74 years old. His education included University of Colorado Boulder, Marshall University, Carnegie Institute of Technology and Westminster College. He worked at Federal Theatre Project. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, Tony Award for Best Scenic Design and Tony Award for Best Scenic Design in a Play. His cause of death was cardiovascular disease.
