Biography of Hryhorii Ivanovych Batii

Hryhorii Ivanovych Batii (* 22. February 1929 in Vilshany; † 3. February 2015) was a scenographer. He was 85 years old. His education included Kharkiv State School of Art and Kharkiv Institute of Arts. He worked at Kharkiv Academic Drama Theater, Kharkiv Ukrainian Drama Theatre and Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre M. V. Lysenka. He was awarded the Merited Painter of Ukraine.
