Biography of I. G. Livšic

I. G. Livšic (* 16. May 1896 in Hrodna; † 13. July 1970 in Saint Petersburg) was a scientist. He was 74 years old. His education included Nizhny Novgorod Gymnasium and Saint Petersburg State University. He worked at Institute for Linguistic Studies and Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences. His awards include Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad" and Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945".
