Latvian writer
Inta Čaklā (* 6. January 1941 in Riga; † 18. February 2016 in Riga) was a latvian writer. She was 75 years old. She was married to Māris Čaklais and Ēvalds Vilks. She studied at University of Latvia. She worked at Raiņa Literatūras un mākslas vēstures muzejs, Galvenā enciklopēdiju redakcija, Literatūra un Māksla (Literature and Arts), weekly, Liesma, Nordik and Tapals. She was awarded the The Annual Latvian Literature Award. She was buried at Forest Cemetery.
