Biography of Irina Iwanowna Maslennikowa

Irina Iwanowna Maslennikowa (* 3. June 1918 in Kyiv; † 11. February 2013 in Moscow) was a sowjetische und russische Opernsängerin. She was 94 years old. She was married to Boris Alexandrowitsch Pokrowski. She studied at Ukrainian National Academy of Music. She worked at Russian Institute of Theatre Arts, National Opera of Ukraine, Bolshoi Theatre and Moscow Conservatory. She received 6 awards, including Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Order of Friendship. She was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
