Biography of Irmgard Seefried

Irmgard Seefried (* 9. October 1919 in Apfeltrach; † 24. November 1988 in Vienna) was a deutsch-österreichische Opern- und Liedsängerin (Sopran). She was 69 years old. She received 4 awards, including Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Honour in Silver for services to the Republic of Austria. She was buried at Neustifter Friedhof.
