Biography
Isao Takahata (* October 29, 1935 in Ise; †April 5, 2018 in Tokyo) was a japanese animator, animation director, director, producer. He was 82 years old. He studied at University of Tokyo. He received 7 awards, including Medal with Purple Ribbon, Officer of Arts and Letters. His cause of death was lung cancer.
