Biography of Ismayil Akhundov (epidemiolog)

Ismayil Akhundov (epidemiolog) (* 8. December 1897 in Shamakhi; † 28. January 1952 in Baku) was a scientist. He was 54 years old. He studied at Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine. He received 4 awards, including Order of the Badge of Honour, Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945".
