Biography of Israil Mechanik

Israil Mechanik (* 15. January 1909 in Minsk; † 7. June 1989 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Gewichtheber. He was 80 years old. He studied at Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism. He received 4 awards, including Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR, Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class. He was buried at Zelenograd.
