Biography of István Csicsery-Rónay

István Csicsery-Rónay (* 13. December 1917 in Budapest; † 22. April 2011 in Budapest) was a hungarian writer, book publisher, librarian, political activist. He was 93 years old. His education included Eötvös Loránd University, Piarist Gymnasium of Budapest, Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, Budapest University of Technology and Economics and The Catholic University of America. His awards include Joseph Pulitzer Memorial Prize, Officer's Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit and Bethlen Gábor Award. He was buried at Rákospalota Cemetery.
