Biography of Iwan Jakaŭlewitsch Nawumenka

Iwan Jakaŭlewitsch Nawumenka (* 16. February 1925 in Vasilyevichy; † 17. December 2006 in Minsk) was a belarusian writer and specialist in literature. He was 81 years old. He studied at Faculty of Philology of the Belarusian State University. He worked at Большевик Полесья, Zvyazda, Maładosć, Belarusian State University and Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. He received 9 awards, including Order of the October Revolution, Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class. He was buried at Kalvaryja.
