J. David Lowell (* 28. February 1928 in Nogales; † 5. May 2020 in Tucson) was an american geologist and mining explorer. He was 92 years old. His education included Stanford University and University of Arizona. He worked at BHP Group, Rio Tinto Group and Codelco.
