Biography of J. Frank Dobie

J. Frank Dobie (* 26. September 1888 in Live Oak County; † 18. September 1964 in Austin) was an american writer. He was 75 years old. He was married to Bertha McKee Dobie. His education included Columbia University, Southwestern University, William Adams High School and Alice High School. He worked at University of Texas at Austin. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Presidential Medal of Freedom. He was buried at Texas State Cemetery.
