J. Volkolakovs (* 28. April 1931 in Riga; † 20. December 2020 in Riga) was a latvian scientist. He was 89 years old. His education included Rīgas 1. kristīgā pamatskola, Riga State Gymnasium No.1 and Riga Stradiņš University. He worked at Ludzas medicīnas centrs and Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital. His awards include Pauls Stradiņš Prize, Order of the Three Stars, 4th Class and USSR State Prize.
