Biography of Jacob Maris

Jacob Maris (* 25. August 1837 in The Hague; † 7. August 1899 in Karlovy Vary) was a niederländischer Maler, Radierer und Lithograf. He was 61 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Royal Academy of Art and Haagsche Teekenacademie. He was awarded the Commander of the Order of the Netherlands Lion. He was buried at The Hague General Cemetery.
