Biography
Jacqueline de Romilly (* March 26, 1913 in Chartres; † December 18, 2010 in Boulogne-Billancourt) was a french philologist, classical scholar. She was 97 years old. She was married to Michel de Romilly. Her education included Lycée Louis-le-Grand, École Normale Supérieure, University of Paris and Lycée Molière. She received 6 awards, including Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres, Commander of the French Order of Academic Palms. She was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
