Biography of Jacques Blamont

Jacques Blamont (* 13. October 1926 in 16th arrondissement of Paris; † 13. April 2020 in Châtillon) was a french astrophysicist. He was 93 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure and Science Faculty of Paris. He worked at Science Faculty of Paris, Pierre and Marie Curie University, National Center for Scientific Research, CNES, California Institute of Technology and Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He received 8 awards, including Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour, Grand Cross of the National Order of Merit.
