Biography of Jacques Friedel

Jacques Friedel (* 11. February 1921 in 6th arrondissement of Paris; † 27. August 2014 in 13th arrondissement of Paris) was a französischer Physiker. He was 93 years old. His education included École polytechnique, University of Bristol, Cours Hattemer, Mines ParisTech, Lycée Louis-le-Grand, Doctor of Science, University of Paris and lycée du Parc. He worked at University of Paris-Sud. He received 10 awards, including Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, Great Cross of the National Order of Scientific Merit. His cause of death was pneumonia.
