Biography
Jacques Tits (* August 12, 1930 in Uccle; † December 5, 2021 in 13th arrondissement of Paris) was a belgian mathematician. He was 91 years old. He was married to Marie-Jeanne Tits-Dieuaide. His education included Université Libre de Bruxelles and Royal Atheneum of Uccle. He received 8 awards, including Commander of the French Order of Academic Palms, Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
