Biography
Jacques Cousteau (* June 11, 1910 in Saint-André-de-Cubzac; † June 25, 1997 in 17th arrondissement of Paris) was a french naval officer, oceanographer, filmmaker and author. He was 87 years old. He was married to Simone Melchior Cousteau and Francine Cousteau. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included École Navale and Collège Stanislas de Paris. He received 7 awards, including Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres, Presidential Medal of Freedom. His cause of death was acute myocardial infarction.
