Jakiw Mjestetschkin (* 30. October 1916 in Odesa; † 3. October 2009 in Kyiv) was a soviet Ukrainian camera operator and film director. He was 92 years old. He studied at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. He received 8 awards, including Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class, Order of the Red Star. He was buried at Baikove Cemetery.
