Biography of James Merrill

James Merrill (* 3. March 1926 in New York City; † 6. February 1995 in Tucson) was an uS-amerikanischer Schriftsteller. He was 68 years old. His education included Amherst College, Lawrenceville School and St. Bernard's School. He worked at Amherst College. He received 6 awards, including Bollingen Prize, Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. His cause of death was death from AIDS-related complications. He was buried at Stonington Cemetery.
