Biography of James Tibbs

James Tibbs (* 27. October 1855 in Hobart; † 17. February 1924 in Ponsonby) was a new Zealand school principal and headmaster of Auckland Grammar School. He was 68 years old. His education included Hobart College, Keble College and The Hutchins School. He worked at St Edward's School. He was awarded the Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George. He was buried at Purewa Cemetery.
