Biography
James Tobin (* 1736 in Champaign; † 1817 in New Haven) was an american economist. He was 81 years old. He had at least 3 children (3 sons). His education included Harvard University, University Laboratory High School and University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. He received 10 awards, including Adam Smith Award, John Bates Clark Medal. His cause of death was cerebrovascular disease. He was buried at Saint Lukes Cemetery.
