Biography of Jan Powierski

Jan Powierski (* 16. May 1940 in Szczuka; † 6. May 1999 in Gdańsk) was a polnischer Mediävist. He was 58 years old. He studied at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He worked at University of Gdańsk. His awards include Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta and Gold Cross of Merit‎. He was buried at Łostowicki Cemetery.
