Jan Steffen (* 17. July 1936; † 10. August 2009) was a polish geneticist, oncologist and immunologist. He was 73 years old. He studied at Poznań University of Medical Sciences. He worked at Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology. He received 4 awards, including Odznaka „Za Zasługi dla Miasta Łodzi”, Gold Cross of Merit.
