Jan Waleczek (* 24. May 1932 in Zabłocie, Silesian Voivodeship; † 4. February 2012 in Katowice) was a polish journalist and politician (1932−2012). He was 79 years old. He studied at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. He received 8 awards, including Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Medal of the National Education Commission. He was buried at Cemetery at Francuska Street in Katowice.
